Towards a Clone Detection Benchmark Suite and Results Archive
نویسندگان
چکیده
Source code clones are copies or near-copies of other portions of code, often created by copying and pasting portions of source code. This working session is concerned with building a communal research infrastructure for clone detection. The intention of this working session is to try to build a consensus on how to continue to build a benchmark suite and results archive for cloneand source comparisonrelated research and development. The working session is structured to foster discussion and debates over what should be collected in the archive, and how best to do it.

Towards a Benchmark Suite for Modelica Compilers: Large Models
The paper presents a contribution to a Modelica benchmark suite. Basic ideas for a tool independent benchmark suite based on Python scripting along with models for testing the performance of Modelica compilers regarding large systems of equation are given. The automation of running the benchmark suite is demonstrated followed by a selection of benchmark results to determine the current limits o...
متن کاملA Quasigroup Based Random Number Generator for Resource Constrained Environments
This paper proposes a pseudo random number generator (PRNG) based on quasigroups. The proposed PRNG has low memory requirements, is autonomous and the quality of the output stream of random numbers is better than other available standard PRNG implementations (commercial and open source) in majority of the tests. Comparisons are done using the benchmark NIST Statistical Test Suite and compressio...

The OAEI Benchmark test set has been used for many years as a main reference to evaluate and compare ontology matching systems. However, this test set has barely varied since 2004 and has become a relatively easy task for matchers. In this paper, we present the design of a flexible test generator based on an extensible set of alterators which may be used programmatically for generating differen...
متن کاملHow are functionally similar code clones syntactically different? An empirical study and a benchmark
Background. Today, redundancy in source code, so-called ‘‘clones’’ caused by copy &paste can be found reliably using clone detection tools. Redundancy can arise also independently, however, not caused by copy&paste. At present, it is not clear how only functionally similar clones (FSC) differ from clones created by copy&paste. Our aim is to understand and categorise the syntactical differences ...
متن کاملA Benchmarking Suite for Static Collision Detection Algorithms
In this paper, we present a benchmarking suite that allows a systematic comparison of pairwise static collision detection algorithms for rigid objects. The benchmark generates a number of positions and orientations for a predefined distance. We implemented the benchmarking procedure and compared a wide number of freely available collision detection algorithms.
